The Real Property Investment Certificate encompasses all disciplines and offers a unique perspective into the different facets of the commercial real estate industry.

Differentiator

You will learn from instructors who are not only academic, but are industry leaders in their respective fields. Classes not only provide theoretical knowledge, but will provide candidates with the opportunity to learn, listen and engage with other leaders from different sectors of the industry.

   

Delivery

Each course is two full days in length (9AM – 5PM) held at Ryerson University (Ted Rogers School of Management). Each course is offered once a year. Multiple offering of the same course may occur based on demand. Courses will be taught through a mix of lecture, case study, and guest speaker methods.

   

Timeline

Certificate candidates will have up to five years to complete the program. Candidates must enroll in the Certificate program which includes a non-refundable $100 administration fee.

   

Graduation

To graduate, candidates must complete the four core courses and two elective courses (96 hours). Candidates must score a minimum of 70% on a short test at the end of each course. To graduate, candidates must “apply to graduate” through the online application system. Once REALpac confirms eligibility, candidates will receive a certificate of completion.

   

Admissions

Candidates have the ability to enroll in the certificate program after you have completed your courses however, as courses are subject to change, we suggest applying for admission to the program first. Relevant work experience is recommended to fully understand and comprehend course material. It is recommended candidates have a minimum of three to four years in the commercial real estate industry. Candidates will possess different levels of experience and come from a variety of fields within the industry.
